Careers at CISofHR
"It's relationships, not programs, that change children."
~Bill Milliken, founder of Communities of Schools
Being Present Matters.
Our Site Coordinators work alongside teachers, counselors, and school leaders – part of the team, never apart from it – building the relationships and connecting the resources that help every student thrive. When you join CISofHR, you don’t replace the people in a school. You strengthen them.
Part of the team, all in for kids
Change doesn't come from one program or person – it comes from a team of caring adults who keep showing up.
A Site Coordinator is embedded full-time inside one school, working hand in hand with teachers and administrators. You’ll conduct a needs assessment, build a plan alongside school leadership, coordinate community resources, and carry a caseload of students who need a consistent caring adult in their corner. You don’t do it alone — and neither do the teachers, because now they have you.

A Day in the Life of a site coordinator
Nobody's day looks the same. That's the point.
Morning
Attendance flags come in. You’re at the door for the students who need to see a familiar face before first block.
Midday
A small group on managing big feelings. A check-in with a teacher. A call to a family about a resource that just came through.
Afternoon
One-on-one case management. Logging progress. Making sure the student who almost didn’t come today knows you’ll be here tomorrow.
