Other Ways to Give
Every dollar we receive goes to work inside a school building. No matter how you give, your contribution puts a caring adult in a classroom and changes the trajectory of a student’s life.

Many Hampton Roads employers will match employee donations to nonprofit organizations — sometimes doubling or tripling your gift at no additional cost to you.
Employer Match Programs
Check with your HR department to see if your employer offers a matching gift program. If so, your donation to CISofHR may be matched dollar-for-dollar or more.
Workplace Giving Campaigns
Organize a workplace giving campaign at your company. We’ll provide materials, impact stories, and a presentation from our team to help engage your colleagues.
Payroll Deduction
Some employers allow employees to direct payroll deductions to nonprofits of their choice. Talk to your HR team about setting up a recurring payroll gift to CISofHR.
Legacy Giving
Planned & Legacy Gifts
A planned gift to CISofHR creates a lasting legacy of student support that extends beyond your lifetime. Legacy donors become founding partners in CISofHR’s long-term vision for Hampton Roads.
Planned giving vehicles include bequests in your will or trust, beneficiary designations on retirement accounts or life insurance policies, charitable remainder trusts, and other deferred giving arrangements.
Non-Cash Gifts
Stocks & Securities
Gifts of appreciated stock or securities may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while receiving a charitable deduction for the full fair market value. This is often one of the most tax-efficient ways to make a significant gift.
Contact our Development Director to receive wire transfer and DTC transfer instructions for stock gifts.

The Most Direct Way to Give.
